Briya Voices for All meets every Friday during Child Development. You can choose to attend the morning meeting OR afternoon meeting.
Briya English Classes Fall 2020
Learning online during COVID-19
Our English classes for DC parents will be online this fall.
Briya will loan you a Chromebook and textbook. You will come to a Briya site to pick up these materials.
If you need help getting Internet at your home, Briya staff will help you.
Class schedules
Every week, you will:
• Participate in 1 live English class on Zoom
• Complete 3 online English activities. You can do these at any time that works for you.
• Participate in 1 child development lesson
• Participate in 1 live advisory group meeting on Zoom
You will interact with and learn from your classmates – other immigrant parents who live in DC.
Teacher and advisor
Every Briya student will have an English teacher and an advisor.
Your teacher will help you learn English.
Your advisor will provide additional support. You will have an advisory group with your advisor and other students.

Briya le prestará un Chromebook y un libro de texto. Usted llegará a un sitio de Briya para recoger estos materiales.

Horarios de clase
Cada semana, usted:
• Participará en 1 clase de inglés en vivo en Zoom
• Completará 3 actividades de inglés en línea. Usted puede hacer estas actividades en cualquier momento que sea conveniente para usted.
• Participará en 1 lección de desarrollo infantil
• Participará en 1 reunión de grupo asesor en vivo en Zoom

Cada estudiante de Briya tendrá un maestro de inglés y un consejero.
Su maestro le ayudará a aprender inglés.

• በ Zoom ላይ በሳምንት 1 ግዜ በቀጥታ ስርጭት የአማካሪ ቡድን ውስጥ ይሳተፉ
አብረው ከሚማሩት ተማሪዎች ጋር መግባባት እና መማር ይችላሉ - ከሌሎች በዲሲ ከሚኖሩ ስደተኞች ወላጆችም ጋር።

Apprendre en ligne pendant COVID-19
Nos cours d’anglais pour les parents de DC seront en ligne cet automne.
Briya vous prêtera un Chromebook et un manuel. Vous viendrez sur un site de Briya pour prendre ces matériaux.
Si vous avez besoin d’aide pour accéder à Internet chez vous, le personnel de Briya vous aidera.
Horaires des cours
Chaque semaine, vous:

• Terminez 3 activités d’anglais en ligne. Vous pouvez le faire à tout moment qui vous convient.

Vous interagirez et apprendrez de vos camarades de classe — d’autres parents immigrants qui vivent à DC.
Enseignant et conseiller
Chaque élève de Briya aura un professeur d’anglais et un conseiller.
Votre professeur vous aidera à apprendre l’anglais.
Votre conseiller vous fournira un soutien supplémentaire. Vous aurez un groupe consultatif avec votre conseiller et d’autres étudiants.
